This size is supplied as straight bars in 8 to 12 m lengths.It is normally specified for heavy infrastructure, dams and large foundations. All bars carry transverse ribs for mechanical interlock with concrete. Grades are HRB400, HRB400E, HRB500 and HRB500E, and the applicable standards are GB 1499.2, BS 4449, AS/NZS 4671, ASTM A615 and SS 560.
