32mm Rebar – Deformed Steel Bar (HRB400 / HRB500)
Product Overview
Jingye supplies 32mm rebar, a hot-rolled ribbed deformed bar with a nominal diameter of 32 mm. The nominal mass is 6.31 kg per metre and the nominal cross-sectional area is 804.2 mm2. At the standard 12 m length there are approximately 13 bars to the tonne, or 158 metres to the tonne.
This size is supplied as straight bars in 8 to 12 m lengths. It is the largest size available against the Korean standard, whose range stops at 32 mm. It is normally specified for bridges, marine structures and heavy foundations. All bars carry transverse ribs for mechanical interlock with concrete. Grades are HRB400, HRB400E, HRB500 and HRB500E, and the applicable standards are GB 1499.2, BS 4449, KS D3504, AS/NZS 4671, ASTM A615, SS 560 and the Costa Rican and Colombian standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the nominal mass of 32mm rebar?
32mm rebar has a nominal mass of 6.31 kg per metre and a nominal cross-sectional area of 804.2 mm2. At the standard 12 m length there are approximately 13 bars to the tonne, or 158 metres to the tonne. The figures follow GB 1499.2 nominal values.
- What length is 32mm rebar supplied in?
Straight bars are supplied in 8 to 12 m and cut-to-length and bundling can be arranged on request.
- What is 32mm rebar in metric sizes?
The nearest imperial size is #10, at 32.3 mm nominal diameter.
- Do you supply test certificates for 32mm rebar?
Yes. Every heat is tested for chemical composition, yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and bend performance, and the shipment is released with a mill test certificate.
