Product Overview
Cold rolled steel coil, abbreviated CRC and also called cold rolled coil, is hot rolled coil further processed by cold reduction and annealing to obtain a smooth surface and precise dimensions. It is the substrate for galvanizing, aluminium-zinc coating, prepainting and deep drawing. Jingye supplies SPCC, SPCC-1B, SPCC-SD, DC01 and SAE1008 to SAE1022.
Coils are produced on a 1450 mm pickling tandem mill with continuous annealing, giving excellent surface finish, tight thickness tolerance and consistent mechanical properties.

Available Dimensions
Thickness 0.3 to 2.5 mm; width 914, 916, 1000, 1200, 1219, 1220, 1250 and 1260 mm; supplied in coil. Products from 0.2 mm to 2.5 mm can be produced, and special sizes can be customised.
Coil weight: orders with width below 1150 mm are accepted on 17 tonne mother coils. For width above 1150 mm, galvanized, galvalume, pre-painted and continuously annealed cold rolled products can be ordered on 17 tonne or 22 tonne mother coils, while batch annealed products are accepted on 22 tonne mother coils only.

Delivery, Testing and Quality
Cold rolled and coated products are produced by Hebei Jingye High-Quality Steel Technology on a 1450 mm line. The project totals 2.6 million tonnes of annual capacity across two phases and includes a pickling tandem mill, continuous annealing and batch annealing lines, three hot-dip galvanising lines, a hot-dip aluminium-zinc line and colour coating lines. Products are manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is cold rolled coil the same as cold rolled steel coil?
Yes. CRC, cold rolled coil and cold rolled steel coil all describe the same product and the terms are interchangeable.
What is the difference between CRC and HRC?
HRC is hot rolled with a scaled surface and wider tolerance. CRC is cold reduced and annealed, giving a smooth surface, tighter tolerance and better formability.
Can you supply a specific width?
Widths of 914, 1000, 1200, 1219, 1220, 1250 and 1260 mm are standard. Other widths are subject to confirmation.
